With FKA Twigs taking on the new role of creative director at Nike, Adidas hit back yesterday with their new Original Is Never Finished short film.
Reworking Frank Sinatra’s classic song, “My Way”, the eerie, dystopian film features the likes of Snoop Dogg, Dev Hynes, LA Lakers Brandon Ingram while Mabel and Stormzy rep for the UK.
The 90 second clip was created by agency Johannes Leonardo, with Creative Director Wes Phelan saying about the video; “We wanted the film to reflect the rich past of all creative spheres: music, art, film and sport… Starting with the music, we intentionally chose a track that had been done multiple times before to prove our point: original is never finished.”
