The singer has apparently cut his tour dates short.

R. Kelly has reportedly cancelled a number of dates on his current US tour following allegations that he is running a sex cult with young women.

The controversial R&B singer, who has been in the spotlight since the claims were made, had vowed to continue touring.

“I just want to let my fans know, despite all of the crap y’all hearing, I will be coming to the East Coast to do my show,” he said last week. “And believe me y’all, it’s a bunch of crap.”

However four of his upcoming 10 ‘After Party’ tour dates were cancelled on Monday.

According to TMZ, shows in Louisiana, Dallas and LA were cancelled due to poor ticket sales.

However sources close to the R&B singer claim the LA tour date was only cancelled due to a “scheduling conflict”. But did not comment on the other three cancelled dates.

A number of artists have expressed their anger at R. Kelly since the shocking revelations, with Vince Staples calling him “a fool”, while Vic Mensa demanded for him to be arrested.

Meanwhile, R. Kelly recently performed for the first time since the sex cult allegations were made, and delivered a very steamy show.

The 50-year-old singer appeared to rub a fan’s phone on his crotch, before inviting fans to touch him on stage.
