Fans were left pretty baffled after Usher’s no-show at Sunday’s (June 4) incredible One Love Manchester benefit concert, but don’t worry – he has good reason for it.

Usher was billed as appearing at the charity gig organised by Ariana Grande alongside the likes of Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Coldplay and Miley Cyrus, but failed to turn up.

While some viewers speculated that Usher was simply a cover-up for Liam Gallagher’s surprise set (without Noel), Usher has revealed the truth over on Instagram – and we can forgive him for it.

Despite Usher’s absence, both viewers at home and the crowd loved the “amazing” night of music, which paid tribute to the victims of the devastating Manchester Arena attack two weeks ago.

Millie Robson, 15, and her friend Laura Anderson were both caught up in the attack, but were well enough to attend One Love Manchester on Sunday.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain yesterday (June 5), Millie said that her experience was “absolutely amazing”, while Laura added: “Everyone being there all together to support each other really did help and made us all feel amazing.”
