The rapper, know for his activism, is now one of the loudest voices calling for a a full boycott of Gucci, a popular luxury brand. Recently, the company was in a tsunami of controversy for a sweater that, when pulled up, shows the wearer having black face and big lips.
Gucci has since apologized for the sweater, as have other companies like H&M.
Tip flat our rejected the apology.
“As a 7 figure/yr customer &long time supporter of your brand I must say…Y’all GOT US f#cked UP!!! APOLOGY NOT ACCEPTED,” he said on Instagram. “Our culture RUNS THIS SHIT!!! We (People of color) spend $1.25 TRILLION/year (but are the least respected and the least included)and if we stop buying ANYTHING they MUST correct any and ALL of our concerns. That’s THE ONLY WAY we can get some RESPECT PUT ON OUR NAME!!!!”
