So is Ariana Grande at ‘One Love Manchester’
Stormzy‘s surprise appearance on ‘Love Island’ and Ariana Grande‘s emotional tribute concert ‘One Love Manchester‘ are set to go head to head at this year’s television BAFTA’s.
The grime hero’s cameo and the US star’s performance of ‘One Last Time’ are both in the running against the reveal of the latest Doctor Who, Viserion’s death at the hands of the Night King in ‘Game Of Thrones’, the grieving of a mother pilot whale for her young in ‘Blue Planet II’ and the scene in ‘Line Of Duty’ in which Roz Huntley is about to be cut up with a chainsaw.
The decision for who will win ‘Virgin TV’s Must-See Moment’ is the one award to be decided by public vote at the television BAFTAs, which will be held in London next month on May 13.
Following Stormzy’s popular cameo on the ITV2 reality show, he later invited stars Chris and Kem to rap with him on stage at V Festival. Kem Cetinay last year confirmed that he’s working on a surprise collaboration with the ‘Gang Signs And Prayer’ star.
Grande’s performance of ‘One Last Time’ was one of many emotional highlights from the One Love Manchester show, which was organised in tribute to those who lost their lives and were injured at her concert at Manchester Arena earlier last summer during a terror attack.
The One Love Manchester benefit gig also featured appearances from Liam Gallagher, Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and many more.
