Nike has announced the release date for the newest Kobe Bryant trainers

The lightweight Nike Kobe A.D. trainers are designed to assist quick movement on the court.

Speaking about the release, NBA legend Kobe cited his hard-working attitude as the inspiration for the A.D.

“Even though I am not on the court every day, there are people around the world who are helping to keep the ‘Mamba Mentality’ alive,” he said.

“I have seen it in basketball, football and with everyday individuals who are working to be better and are committed to being great.”

Bryant ended his 20-year career in April, scoring 60 points for the LA Lakers in their April face-off against the Utah Jazz.
