Eminem has shared the first trailer for the new film he’s produced, ‘Bodied’. Check it out below.
Fresh from dropping his surprise new album ‘Kamikaze‘, Marshall Mathers’ new film hits cinemas on November 2 before being released via Youtube Premium on November 28.
Directed by Joseph Khan, the film stars Calum Worthy, Dumbfoundead, Anthony Michael Hall, Jackie Long, Charlamagne Tha God, and won the People’s Choice Midnight Madness Award at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival.
The movie tells the story of Berkeley student Adam Merkin (played byWorthy) who enters and wins a rap battle before finding success in the Oakland hip-hop world. Drama then ensues as he alienates his fellow rappers as well as those close to him.
Eminem’s previous film work starring in 2001 film The Wash and most famously playing the leads in the quasi-autobiographical 2002 film 8 Mile.
Meanwhile, the world is currently awaiting Eminem’s ‘follow up’ to his diss track against Machine Gun Kelly.
Eminem took aim at Kelly on the track ‘Killshot‘, before he then replied with ‘Rap Devil‘.
He confirmed reports that a sequel was on the way, after Shady Records producer Mr Porter said: “Right now, he in there working. We doing something else right now, but trust me, we’ll get to it. I’ll tell you this: I wouldn’t wanna be [Machine Gun Kelly]. I
“It’s great that you took that opportunity and did that, hey, kudos to you, good for you. The one thing that I’m worried about . . . You remember when Thanos threw that whole planet at Iron Man? [It will be like that].”
