'Theme Park' free release on iPhone & iPad
Theme Park is now available on iPhone and iPad for free.
Announced at gamescom, the title is based on the 1994 Bullfrog release of the same name, but features free-to-play elements and an all-new 3D engine.
Players use in-game currency and tickets to build new rides and shops, with construction and park income taking place in real time.
While tickets and in-game currency accumulate over time, more can be bought using real money to speed up park progress.
Starter packs for 70 Super Tickets and $72,000 in cash start at £2.99 each, with the highest in-game purchases at £69.99 for a 1,600 Super Ticket pack or $3.6 million in cash.
Elsewhere, rides can be played with using basic touch controls to generate more money, while rides based on EA-themed properties such as Mass Effect and Dead Space can be bought.
Theme Park also supports EA's digital service Origin, which provides cloud gaming support and access to other people's parks.
Fellow Bullfrog franchise Syndicate will be revived by EA early next year.
