The 2012 Grammy Awards are the music industry's biggest night of the year, and plenty of your favourite stars showed up for the Los Angeles ceremony.

Unlike the Academy Awards, the Grammys isn't always known for having the most glamorous outfits... which we love!

There were plenty of ridiculous attention seeking outfits, which is what an award ceremony should be all about!

Unfortunately Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were not in attendance, but we'll have to be strong and focus on all the other amazing celebs that showed up.

BEST DRESSED

Adele



She was the queen of the night, and Adele was absolute perfection in a black sequined Giorgio Armani dress. She also showed off her new blonde do, which we absolutely loved! 9/10

Rihanna

RiRi kept things simple this year, going for a stunning black Armani gown. We love to see her wearing something so glamorous! However, is it just us or is she starting to morph into Beyonce? Blonde hair has always been B's thing! 8/10

Katy Perry



Yes she kind of looks like a smurf... but Katy Perry is working this all blue ensemble! Love the cut of the dress. 6/10

WORST DRESSED

Lady Gaga

Trust Lady Gaga to cover her face with a piece of net. Trust Lady Gaga to not bother walking the red carpet. Unfortunately for her nothing can top last year's egg. Why even show up? 4/10

Sasha

OK so we don't really know or care who this Sasha person is... but with the amount of anti-terrorist security in the US, we're surprised she managed to get her gun arm into the Grammys! 3/10

Snooki

It's not bad exactly... it just looks like an outfit she would wear out to Karma in Seaside Heights. Why is Snooki even there? 3/10

Anne V aka Adam Levine's girlfriend

This much leg should actually be illegal. There is literally a piece of fabric wrapped around her hip! Did Anne accidently rip a hole in her dress? 2/10

Nicki Minaj and the Pope

We love a bit of red carpet craziness -- and Nicki Minaj definitely brought that thanks to her special date! Nicki showed up with the Pope on her arm. Hmmm. She's in Versace, looking ridiculous and amazing. Thank you Nicki. Thank you. 1/10
